Draft School Regulations fall far short of needed protection
More than a year after the California Department of Pesticide Regulation held a series of “listening sessions” to gather community input on its proposed regulation to protect schoolchildren from exposure to hazardous agricultural pesticides, the new draft regs are finally out – but there’s little relief for communities on the frontlines.
