In Sacramento today, where the Assembly Environmental (ESTM) Committee is hearing from the legendary Dolores Huerta on the harms to farmworkers from paraquat, which carries a "one sip can kill" warning, is banned in 60+ countries, and is strongly linked to Parkinson's.
Assembly Bill 1963 would impose a moratorium while DPR conducts a reevaluation. It's been on DPR's priority list since 2011 but still no reevaluation begun.
Once again, the legislature has to remind DPR to do its job
